Data Removal
Last updated: July 22, 2026
Soon: Countdown stores your data only on your device. There is no account to delete and no server-side copy of your countdowns, notes or photos, because we operate no user database. Deletion is therefore entirely in your hands, and takes effect immediately.
Delete a single countdown
Open the countdown, tap the menu and choose Delete. This removes it, along with its note and any attached photo, from your device.
Delete everything
Open Settings in the app and use the Reset option. This erases all countdowns, memories, attached photos and preferences from your device.
Uninstall the app
Uninstalling Soon removes all of its local data permanently. Nothing is retained by us, because nothing was ever sent to us.
Note that uninstalling does not cancel a subscription. Cancel in Google Play > Subscriptions.
Stop advertising data collection
Ad-related data is processed by Google AdMob, not by us. To stop it:
- Open the app's settings and use the privacy options to reopen the consent form, then withdraw consent.
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads.
- Subscribing to Soon Premium disables advertising entirely — no ad requests are made for Premium users.
For deletion of data already held by Google, see Google's privacy policy.
Account deletion request
Soon has no accounts, so there is no account to delete and no request to submit. If you would like written confirmation that we hold no data about you, email [email protected] and we will confirm.
